Membership Application Details

Illustration: Haworthia mutica (?) [D]

Membership of the Haworthia Society is open to individuals and institutions etc. in all countries.  Approximately 40% of members reside in the UK and 60% in other countries.  Membership runs from January to January of each year.

New Members are welcome at any time - those joining early in the year are (on payment of that year's subscription) sent the back numbers of the Journal for that year . Those joining after August may opt either for paying that year's subscription and receive the year's back numbers, or receive the October issue gratis as well as the following year's subscription.

If you are an existing member, and are unsure of your subscription status, please check with the Membership Secretary. Renewals for 2008 are now due.

You can join or renew using our Membership Application Form (Available online for printing and mailing, please note that it is in PDF format so you will need Acrobat Reader to access it).

Either mail your application form directly to the Society's Membership Secretary, enclosing a UK Bank cheque for the appropriate membership fee payable to "the Haworthia Society" in £ Sterling (UK EU and Overseas applicants);

Or EU and Overseas applicants only may pay in their local currency via their local Representative.

CURRENT ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEES

UK £12.00. All EU countries: £13.00 (€19.00). Overseas (airmail)£15.00. Overseas (surface mail)£13.00.

Overseas Members should check with the Membership Application Form, or via their local Haworthia Society Local Representatives for local currency rates, as subscription rates may vary with fluctuations in exchange rates.

We very much regret that we currently have no facilities for online payment, or for payment by credit card.

If you do not have a printer but would like a membership form to complete, send a self-addressed envelope with a stamp appropriate to the country in which you reside to your Overseas Representative or to the Membership Secretary if you live in the UK.

Remember: if paying in sterling the cheque must be made payable to the Haworthia Society - not to an individual.  If paying in a foreign currency the cheque must be made payable to the Honorary Representative in person, not to the Haworthia Society.

Please note: We advise Members living in countries outside the European Union to take the air mail option. If you decide on the surface mail alternative please allow adequate time for delivery.
